EYE SURGERY

Eyelid Surgery

Twenty-two years devoted to a single specialty.
Results that look natural, and remain so over time.

Our approach to eyelid surgery.

The thickness of the fold, its starting point, and the way it tapers are all determined by the patient's individual anatomy and overall facial proportions. We begin with a careful examination of the bone structure and the soft tissue around the eye, and design a result that suits the patient's features and continues to hold its shape over time.

"Across ptosis correction, epicanthoplasty, and aging, male, and lower blepharoplasty,
the measure of a successful result is the same: it should look natural, and it should last."

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions patients raise during consultation.

Which method is right for my eyes?
During your consultation, we evaluate eyelid thickness, levator muscle strength, skin elasticity, and overall facial proportions. Based on those findings, we recommend whichever approach — incisional, non-incisional, or dynamic-fixation — is best suited to your anatomy. We do not apply the same technique to every patient.
How long is the recovery period?
Non-incisional and suture methods typically settle within one to two weeks. Incisional methods generally require four to six weeks for the visible swelling to subside, with the final result evaluated around the six-month mark.
Can men achieve a result that does not look operated on?
Yes. For male patients, we often perform a hidden-fold technique or monolid ptosis correction so that the line remains subtle. Definition and a natural appearance are both achievable.
Is surgery still appropriate at an older age?
Yes. Aging blepharoplasty evaluates the upper lid in relation to the brow position, and can address both functional concerns such as obstructed vision and aesthetic concerns at the same time.
Important Information As with any surgery, possible complications include bleeding, infection, and inflammation. Individual results vary. All before-and-after photographs are taken six months after surgery and are published with the patient's written consent.
