Endoscopic Brow Lift

Full HD endoscope precision, anchored with Endotine fixation.

"

Precision through a Full HD endoscope.

"A safe, predictable result depends on protecting the nerves, working around the vessels to minimize bleeding, and dissecting the muscle plane with care. The endoscope is what makes that possible."

— Dr. Choi Dong-Il, Director

ABOUT

What Is an Endoscopic Brow Lift?

A precise lift of the forehead and brow that softens forehead lines and lifts a heavy-looking upper face.

The Full HD Endoscopic Brow Lift

At Gangnam Seoyon, the brow lift is performed under a Full HD endoscope. The high-definition view allows us to protect the facial nerve branches with care, work around the vessels to keep bleeding to a minimum, and dissect the muscle layer accurately for a clean, controlled lift.

The descended brow and forehead are gently lifted into a more natural position, lightening a heavy upper-face impression and softening forehead wrinkles in the same procedure.

※ The incisions sit inside the hairline, where they remain inconspicuous in everyday life.

KNSY · ENDOSCOPE

Our endoscopic brow lift.

At Gangnam Seoyon, the procedure is performed under a Full HD endoscope. Working from a high-definition view, we can identify the major branches of the facial nerve, the surrounding vessels, and the muscle layers directly — protecting the nerves, keeping bleeding to a minimum, and dissecting the muscle plane with precision.

FIXATION 01

A Dedicated Absorbable Anchor

A small absorbable device with multiple fine tines that hold the scalp tissue securely in its lifted position.

ABSORPTION
Fully reabsorbed over time
FIXATION 02

Reabsorbed as Healing Sets In

Once the lifted tissue has settled into its new position, the device is gradually reabsorbed by the body and disappears on its own.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How is this different from a direct brow lift?
A direct brow lift excises a strip of skin just above the brow. The endoscopic brow lift uses small incisions inside the hairline, with endoscope-guided dissection and fixation of the deeper tissue layer. The latter leaves the scarring less visible and tends to deliver a more natural lift.
What is Endotine fixation?
Endotine is a dedicated absorbable device that holds the lifted tissue in its new position while the area heals. Over time, the device is fully reabsorbed by the body, while the tissue remains in its lifted position.
Is there a risk of hair loss?
The incisions are inside the hairline, but they are placed and closed in a way that protects the surrounding follicles. Permanent hair loss is uncommon. A temporary telogen-phase shedding can occur and typically recovers on its own.
Can it be combined with eyelid surgery?
Yes — and the two are frequently recommended together. Lifting a descended brow and forehead supports the eyelid result, allowing the fold to settle into a cleaner, more defined position.
How long does the result last?
Because the lift is performed at the SMAS and periosteal level, results typically hold for seven to ten years or more. Aging continues over time, so individual outcomes vary.
Important InformationAs with any surgery, possible complications include bleeding, infection, inflammation, nerve injury, scarring, and transient numbness. Individual results vary. Please consult thoroughly with your surgeon to determine the right diagnosis and treatment.
