A patient came in for a follow-up today, so I will do a quick post with their photos.
Sausage Eyes · Three Months After Double-Line Revision

She came to us to address a sausage-like eyelid appearance and asymmetry.
The crease was set high, and the two sides were uneven.

There was a sausage-like fullness, with visible scarring as well.

Because there was not enough skin available to lower the crease in the conventional way, I used the double-line technique — releasing the existing scar and creating a new line below it — to bring the crease down.

One week post-op, at suture removal. Even with residual swelling, the line has come down considerably.

At one week, the original scar has been released and a new line set below it. There is mild lagophthalmos (incomplete eye closure), which is typical right after surgery: the orbicularis oculi loses some of its tone temporarily and recovers on its own.

At one month. There is still some swelling, but the line is clearly lower than before.

The new scar at one month is still firm, with a small ridge near the medial corner. The original scar is already starting to fade.

At three months. The crease has dropped considerably.
A small spot has surfaced — visible in the photo at the center of the left eyelid (her right) — which I expressed today.
She went home after that quick treatment. ^^
By the six-month mark, both the original scar and the new line should fade further.
