Early Revision for Multiple Folds — A Case Study

She came to us with bilateral multiple folds following her original double eyelid surgery.
After multiple folds developed at the original clinic, they had then performed fat grafting on top of it.
Fat grafting has its place, but in most multiple-fold cases, working with the existing intra-orbital fat is enough — adding more is rarely necessary.
The multiple folds were gone immediately after surgery.
We removed the grafted fat that had formed unwanted adhesions, repositioned the clean upper-lid fat to allow proper eye opening, and put measures in place to prevent the adhesions from re-forming.
One week post-op. Minimal swelling, no multiple folds.
Three weeks after the early revision.

The multiple folds are gone, with some residual swelling and scar-tissue ridging still settling. We softened the fixation, so the lid should continue to refine.
