Some patients want to get rid of their crease — to convert from a double eyelid back to a no-crease look.

I want to walk through how I approach this.

Technically, you can excise the crease and re-close it, but that leaves a visible scar, so I do not recommend that approach.

It ends up looking like this — the scar is too prominent.

What I actually do is tuck the crease inward so it is no longer visible from the front.

Once the swelling resolves, the crease has tucked away like this.

You essentially roll the line inward. This is from my published paper.
