I came across this kind of headline while browsing online.
"Double-eyelid surgery review. This is not an ad."
Maybe it really is not an ad. Then again, would anyone honestly label a non-ad post that way?
Either way, a patient review is a patient review.
Some patients do write up their own experiences, though it is rare.
Running a clinic, I am genuinely grateful when patients take the time to share, especially when they have something positive to say.
The photos below are shared with the patient's consent.

Immediately post-op.

Four months post-op.
This is genuinely not an ad. Just sharing what the swelling timeline looks like.
Let me restate the most important points about this surgery.
1. Know your starting point. The underlying bony anatomy is the single most important factor.
2. Different starting points suit different shapes. Trust the specialist's judgment on what fits you.
3. After surgery, trust the specialist on whether what you are seeing is post-op swelling or an actual surgical issue.
4. If a revision is needed, you will need to wait roughly six months. I know that is stressful, but immediate re-operation is rarely advisable. The good news is that the need for revision is uncommon. We measure carefully, and the more experienced the surgeon, the lower the rate.
